Genisys Selected to Speak at the 30th CAMP IT Expo on May 8, 2003

This session will introduce you to XQuery, a new technology standard from the W3C, which aims to provide a standardized mechanism to access real or virtual XML documents. Securing and Authenticating Web Services: An Overview of the WS-Security SOAP Extensions

Companies planning to build Web services must provide protection for messages exchanged in a Web services environment. This discussion will review various Web services security models, and highlight the WS-Security specification proposed by IBM, Microsoft and VeriSign. The WS-Security specification defines a standard set of SOAP extensions which can be used to implement integrity and confidentiality in Web services applications.
